#487795, "cars for triplets..."

Hey everyone, my wife and I are new to the forum but we have a lot of questions. She is currently 23 weeks with BBG. We are looking at finding a new car that can fit 3 Peg Pergeo carseats across. Has anyone on here looked at the acura MDX to see if this is an option. Any good options from people who have recently bought new cars?

Thanks in advance

I don't know about the Peg Pergeo seats, but we just bought a GMC Acadia because we needed room for 4 car seats since we have a 2 year old and are expecting triplets. Our Chico Key Fit seats fit 3 across on the middle bench of the Acadia and we will put our toddler on the back bench so we can have the smaller portion of that seat folded down to accommodate a stroller as well as have cargo space behind the back bench. We really enjoy it! Sorry I don't have a clue about the MDX!

the PP car seats are quite large...we've got an '07 Odyssey (van) and had the PP seats..to my recollection, we couldn't fit them 3 across. The dimensions of the seats should be on line...you could probably measure --- you'll also have to account for the latch system, making sure you've got the right number to connect the seats to. We just found the bases too wide and couldn't attach them safely - we had 2 in the middle row and one in the back (we also have another carseat for our now 4 yr old.

hope that helps...good luck and Congratulations!

I would go with 3 Radian's, we have the 80sl's. They go 5-80lbs so you would get lots of use out of them and they fit 3 to a row in almost any car. We used to have an Odyssey and now have the Escalade ESV.
