My kids bday is the 1st day of summer, so this yr we are doing a beach party at a restaurant. Its going to be pricey but its also DH 40th bday, so I want to do something special. But we are also doing a class party with pizza, cake and a water slide, slip and slides and pinata at the house. I always have a art table and crap stuff from Oriental trading co. I think I am going to do balloon toss, maybe sack races BBG 6/21/06

Mine just had their 5th birthday, and it was cold outside here in March in Michigan... but we just went to Chuck E Cheese. I have to say that my kids were over the moon, and so were all their friends (we invited their whole preschool class, there were 17 kids total including my 7-year-old). I was really struck by what a perfect age it was to have the party there, and the staff did an awesome job making it special for the kids. Best of all... it was so little work for me!
