#488058, "Stroller shopping is way too difficult!!"

So I finally found the stroller I wanted. Made the decision. We were going to splurge and drop 900 bucks on the Inglensina. It's discontinued for at least 2 years!!!!!! Our babies are 9 months now so they've outgrown the triple decker frame. I need to get one ASAP. We don't like the RunAbouts because they're way too big for our small storage and they don't fold up. Did anyone get anything else and like it? If you have a minute please answer some of these questions:
What stroller do you have?
Do you like it?
Does it fold up easily and fit in your car? (We have an SUV that fits the triple decker frame w/ plenty of space)
How is the middle babies' space?

**If you have the peg perego what work is required to take off the seats and fold it up? Do the seats stack up to fit in the car? It kinda bothers me if we get this b/c it's technically just a frame too and we could've avoided the triple decker purchase all together.

Thanks so much for any help. I'm about to pull my hair out looking!!!!

p.s. I love the space for each child in the joggers but they don't fit through single doors and that's not practical for us. I go to a lot of dr. appts alone & need to get through a single door!

Your cheapest option would be to convert your Triple Decker to take Bell bicycle seats. The seats, that usually go on the back of a bicycle, cost about $35 ea. We have done this using the instructions from a fellow triplet dad and love the conversion. The stroller still folds flat to easily fit into our van. I'll send you a private message.

I had a peg perego. I loved it. The frame folds done flat and each seat comes off. I stacked the seats on top of the frame in the back of my van. Once the kids were about 18 months I bought the choo choo wagaon from step 2 and sold the stroller. I love the wagon because I can put it together with one snap. The peg was easy to take apart and put back together but the choo choo was the answer for me when they got older. Maybe you can do what the other pp said and convert your stroller now.

IMO you're not going to get enough life out of a triplet stroller to make it worth spending big bucks on. I had the Foundations Trio (bought new about $400) and it was tolerable. Once my kids turned two they did not want to be in a triple stroller anymore (so we used it barely a year), and we switched to the choo choo which they loved, and I thought it was easier to pull it than pushing the triple stroller.

Many people take their choo choo everywhere, in stores, airports, malls... it does fit in the back of my Dodge Caravan.

Good luck!
