#488102, "Best nursing chair/glider for multiples?"

Hi all,
Anyone have a glider they love? A friend just bought a custom chair from Serena and Lilly that she loves, but not sure I can afford to go that route!
TIA!

When I nursed my babies, I tandem nurse. I found it easier to sit on the couch or loveseat vs a chair. The chair was just to small for me, two babies and a double nursing pillow. And if I sat on the couch I was able to put the third one in a bouncy seat next to me and it made it easy for me to help the third one if needed.

My husband and I disagreed on the chair to get for the nursery. I wanted a smaller one (chenille rocker with a swivel base) that felt more comfortable for me, and he wanted a larger glider for taller people.

I was too tired and pregnant to protest much, and I always regretted that. The chair that was too large was waaaaaay too large for me at 5'2". I never felt comfortable or supported in it. I was the one producing the milk, pumping it, trying to nurse, recovering from the C-section, and up all night soothing babies. I should have had the chair I wanted.

Just sayin'....

I never nursed (just pumped) but as far as holding/soothing babies we just used a loveseat double recliner that we had before. It was great since there was plenty of room, plus we could recline so that we could sleep if we ended up holding a baby all night. Now we are able to use it to read everyone books before bed, etc. Much more versatile than a glider in my opinion...
