When my girls were ready to move out of toddler beds, we put them into 1 queen bed.
We placed the bed in the corner so the long side was against the solid wall (no window).
3 pillows along the long side of the bed and a twin comforter to cover all 3.
My girls had already been in toddler beds for 3 years (age 2-5) so we had already done the stay in bed fights. They were delighted to sleep together and, in fact when at age 7 we got a bunk over a queen with a trundle, they still all slept in the queen most nights until we got a triple bunk bed at age 12.
Good luck.

Our kids needed their own beds. We did twin beds and the room was crowded but doable. They are restless sleepers and need their own space.
Surprisingly, we only had a few battles for the "top" bunk. My boys all wanted the top bunk. Eventually, we bought a bunk bed with a trundle. They all wanted to sleep "up high." We rotated nights. After a week, two of the boys decided they didn't like being up high. We then had assigned beds and it worked perfectly for years.
Not sure how old your girls are but high bunk beds aren't safe for very young kids.
