#608, "love biting?"

Today, I woke up and got my boys up as normal. I was dressing Domenic when I noticed circular red patches, one on his neck and a couple on his arm. I then noticed one on Darrell, on his left arm. My heart sank! I thought it was me at first, I thought I had been too rough with them by accident. I showed my husband and he too was baffeled. This morning, after they had had their breakfast, they were playing on the floor. I saw Devon climbing on top of Domenic and he had his mouth on his arm. I got closer and saw he was sucking on it! I pulled him away, and sure enough there was another red mark just like the others. at first, I was so relieved that it wasn't me or my husband! But what can I do? I don't want my boys to have love bites all over themselves, but I don't want to keep pulling them away from each other. Has this happened to anyone else, or can you think of anyway to help stop these sucking babies!?

Afterwards of course it was quite funny to think of my boys giving each other love bites

Thanks in advance

Gabrielle

Thanks for bringing back some funny memories

I remember my girls going through a period of sucking on each other. They left red marks, but they went away after a short period of time. Your boys must have a strong sucking reflex My girls are 8 months old now and go for objects more than each other.

Some of my favorite pictures are of my girls sucking on each other. I remember reading it's a pretty common thing for multiples. Being boys, it will be one of those horrifying stories you can blackmail them with

Do you give them pacifiers? That might help. I think they will focus less on each other (my girls have)as they become more mobile and can get to other things.

Good luck!

Thanks Michelle.

I looked at their arms today, and the red marks have almost disappeared so I'm not as worried anymore.

You're right, it will be a perfect blackmailing story for the future! hehehehe.

I love the names of your girls by the way
