Hello,

My name is Cindy and I have been lurking on your site for several weeks, but have just decided to jump on. I am currently 17wk5d with g/g/b triplets from IVF. I already have a set of IVF twin boys that are almost 28 months old. We did our 2nd IVF this past Sept. and really only wanted one more to complete our family. We went ahead and put back two thinking that even if we had twins again, we already had everything and were experienced. Needless to say, we were shocked when that remote chance happened to us and we ended up with triplets.

As my DH worried with the idea of 5 kids so close together and the related finances, we were blessed with him getting a promotion to the Memphis, TN area, which we are now in the process of moving. I never want to move pregnant again. I am so sad to be leaving my OB and Peri who were nothing but wonderful and genius during my twin pregnancy. I am getting some recommendations from my Peri, but does anyone here know of any great doctors in Memphis? Not just OBs and Peris, but also Pediatricians.

You all seem like such a great and supportive group. Thanks for any help you might be able tog ive me.

Cindy

Welcome Cindy --
What a busy life you have! Twins, expecting triplets, and moving!! I feel like I'm standing still by comparison.

I'm nowhere near Memphis -- although I've always wanted to visit -- so I can offer no help with recommendations. But I did want to pop on and say "hi"

It's nice to have you here.

Hi Cindy-

First of all I want to say welcome! This site has been very helpful for me. I also have twins and am expecting triplets, and know how overwhelming the thought of 5 little ones can be. My twins are 4 yr. old girls, so I'm hoping they will be little helpers?? Yours are a little younger, but they will be at a good age when the babes come. Think about what a close family you will have! As for your question on Dr. referrals, I cannot help you unfortunately. I live in Salt Lake, but admire you with twins, pregnant with triplets, and moving! WOW! It sounds like a major blessing though with hubby's new job. Remember to take it easy, and take care of yourself and the 3 babes, we as moms feel like we can do it all! Good Luck with everything and look forward to your future updates and posts.

Kari and Cindy,
OKay, I only had one child when I had the triplets but he was two years (and two days) when they were born, but even so young, he is FABULOUS! He is such a good helper and so sweet to his brothers. We have one SCREAMER and I can always count on him to stop when Jack shoves his little happy face in front of the screamer. It is hectic and crazy, but I am so glad to have Jack. And I think he already doesn't remember life before the babes. I hope yours are as great as our Jack Sprat.

Jack - 10 years old
Abraham, Dylan and Zane - 8 years
and now . . . . Tobias, 2 years old!

Hi Cindy,

Congrats on your triplet pregnancy Congrats to DH on his promotion, sounds like it came at the perfect time! Be sure to take it easy moving, rest alot and keep hydrated! I'm sure you are busy enough with 2-4yr olds and the every day ins & outs...ON TOP of moving. You are probably a multi-tasker already and adding triplets to your family, you're bond to become a PRO at it, LOL!

I don't have any help for you in the Memphis area but I'm sure you'll find good, qualified doctors there. Good luck, Take Care and Welcome to TC!

hi cindy.
dh and i are currently based in hong kong so i can't offer any knowledge on drs, etc, but i did want to say a few words on your pregnancy...

as the mother of multiples already, you have a lot of advantages. you know how to delegate and what not to sweat. you know your kiddies will learn to share and to treasure quiet time. you realise that sleep is more important than a clean fridge. your family is blessed!
