Does anyone have kids with these problems or know anyone who does ? My DS has been having some ongoing problems that have been worsening and are very troubling to me.
He has a dialated common bile duct (CBD) with a stricture. Stones and biliary sludge in his CBD that were just removed and he already had his gallblader removed 2 yrs ago. He has jaundice and elevated total billiruben. He has been uncomfortable and nauseaus after everything he eats. He has had some really nasty stools too. He is looking VERY thin and after some LONG overdue weight gain recently has lost weight.
Just when it seems like things are ok, he takes a turn for the worse. He is having some specialized tests done that will hopefully give us some answers soon, but it would be really helpful for me to talk to someone with a child who has been through something similar.
