HELLO EVERYONE!

KINDA NEW IN HERE, READ ALOT BUT DON'T POST MUCH.
LIKE ALOT OF YOU, I HAVE TRIPLETS. 2 GIRLS AND ONE BOY.
THEY WERE BORN AT 27+2 WEEKS. ONE OF THEM HAS BPD. I KNOW ALITTLE ABOUT THE DISEASE, BUT I DONT THINK I KNOW AS MUCH AS I SHOULD. IF ANYONE HAS ANYTHING THEY CAN TELL ABOUT THIS, PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

My DD,Abby, had BPD too.My trio was born at 24weeks 3days. First thing you need to do is get yourself an AWESOME pediatric pulmonologist. He or she will decide on a course of treatment to help your child overcome this.
My DD, has had nebulizer treatments since she came home from the hospital and she gets yearly lung function tests to see how well she's healing. She is now 4 1/2 years old and her lungs are almost completely healed. Lung tissue can renew itself and the lungs continue to develop until age 8. Sio by 8 , your child can have perfect lungs!
