Ok sorry to bug you all again but Prestons therpist want me to get a tunnel for him to practice to crawl through. i am looking for sites that would sell this kind of stuff and other little toys that might come up to help him move along. i just don't know where to look or what sites might be good in the future. We do have family resources that give us so much money a year but i think i am almost tapped out on that for this year and if something big comes up i am hopeing that we would have enough money in that to cover it. If i can afford things i would like to buy them ourselfs.

The tunnels you can crawl through are pretty reasonable. You can get them at Target, Walmart of Toys R Us. They are about $20-25.

I bought our tunnel from Orental Trading Co. What kind of therapy is Preston getting? Does he need sensory toys? Some of the bigger things I used I made myself from things I picked up at yard sales. I made a swing from a hammock. I put the 2 ends together and mounted them in the ceiling of the basement and put a kingsize pillow in it for my son to sit on. Bean bag chairs are good for therapy too if that is the kind that your OT wants him to do. Pocket Full OF Therapy is a good site and so is Abilitations but they are VERY EXPENSIVE.

Good luck

Jaclyn-
YOu can try Flaghouse.com. I can get you more websites as well. The bath seat we ordered for Chase is the Sammons folding bath seat (check out Sammons.com too). Sorry I did not get back to you on the name of the seat. YOur therapists should give you some websites and help you select products ( our PT and OT did all of the leg-work in finding Chase's equipment and here in NY the County is paying for the products under the Early Intervention Program). Does your Early Intervention Program in your County or State have funding for equipment? YOu can e-mail me again and I can give you information for NY maybe it will help you?

I found a tunnel at target for 15 bucks. His therpist are doing the leg work for the chair and some kind of outfit to put on him that would like hold his muscles together i forget what it is called right now. I do get money through family resources but I think it is mostly tapped out this year do to having to buy thickner and the outfit on it and some other stuff. I have to check. I know his therpist told me today if he would get diagnosed with cerebral palsy that would open our door to be able to get him more stuff. But i am not sure. Thanks for the sites.

Hi
Another site you might want to try for kids stuff is craigslist. IT is like a garage sale but online. I was able to get my tunnels at a garage sale. Good luck
