#3951, "three with CP"

HI!

I posted about two years ago with my situation and am just curious if there is anyone out there now

I have triplet 4 year old boys born at 30 weeks. Zakary and Tyler have PVL and now spastic quad CP. Matthew has diplesia CP.

We are physically, emotionally and finacially drained. BUT, there is truely not a day that goes by that I am not thankful that I am their mom.

Anyone else out there with all 3 with CP???

Dawn

I have two with CP. My trio is now ten years old and former 27 weekers. Both Noah & Karissa had PVL which was diagnosed before they left the NICU.

Noah is a spastic quad who uses a powerchair for most mobility. Karissa is a left hemiplegic - her CP is very mild and some people don't notice unless they watch her closely.

I own a Yahoo group http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/OurCPKids/ We have lots of members with multiples including twins and triplets.

My surviving trio are 2 1/2 years old. Hayden which is my angel had spastic quadpeligic cerebral palsy. Preston has spastic diapelgic cerebral palsy and we think Madison has a mild spastic cerebral palsy but we are not sure. We will find out more later this month. It is hard at times with Preston he is still not walking and is just now starting to crawl some. He is also deaf unless he has his cochlear implant on. Hayden passed away when they were 14 months old so about 10 1/2 months corrected and at that time he was only doing about a 3 to 4 month old level. He was tight everywhere and was on volume when he got real bad. I don't know how severe your kids are but it was hard at times with both boys. Maddie is walking and everything but she seems to be tighter on the one side and falls alot at times. I would do anything to have Hayden back. Wish you luck.
