Another interesting website that discusses the swine flu. I wonder if the cases of swine flu will actually rise after the vaccine becomes more available? Just some food for thought....

They probably will. Although I think we will see an increase in cases based upon the simple fact that we are entering the cold and flu season. As we get deeper and deeper into the season, viruses naturally tend to spread, especially in colder climates. The area that I reside in has seen a huge amount of confirmed H1N1 cases and we actually have one confirmed death that was announced today. AND if the general public continues to choose the advice of movie stars rather than trained medical professionals who have been through YEARS of schooling and forgo the H1N1 vac, I imagine we will see an increase. Only time will tell I guess and I may be proven wrong, however I find more value in the advice of my highly respected ped and dbil, who also happens to be a physician and has the best interests of his nephew and nieces at heart.
I also don't buy into the opinion of a website/doctor(?) that offers his "snake oil" for the reduced price of $49.40! I'm taking the advice of two very experienced physician's who actually tend to be very concervative w/prescribing meds in general.

I am just wondering about viral shedding from recently vaccinated kids. Will that actually cause more children to be infected? We also have many cases around here. I guess in particular in our church (which also happens to be a school). I have really moved away from traditional medicine and am treating sickness with supplements I can from the health food store, things like extra vitamin D and vitamin C. I really want to support the immune system if I can and stay away from vaccines and pharmaceuticals and their side effects. I felt traditional medicine was actually making my kids sicker, I just felt it in my gut and they are doing SO much better since we went more natural with our food and proper vitamins.
That guy is kind of spooky and a bit "out there" but I thought it was interesting food for thought. I just like to point out all sides as the truth likely lies somewhere in the middle.

I also wanted to share my experience with colloidal silver recently. I had a headache for 3 days last weekend and come Monday was not feeling so great. Had some congestion and drainage. I decided to give colloidal silver a try. It is supposedly anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and anti-viral. I was skeptical but it worked wonders. I took about 5- 1 tsp. doses in one day and I think it might have kicked whatever I had going. I am not sure if it was allergies or a true cold but I felt really good the next day. I used this brand: http://www.natural-immunogenics.com/. I think it was about $12 a bottle. I also had good luck clearing up an ear infection with the same stuff. If you google colloidal silver, you get some people who look like smurfs! I guess this is a rare condition associated with high consumption of colloidal silver. So far, I am still my usual pale self, no Smurfette here-lol! Well, I would love to hear if anyone has experience, good or bad, with colloidal silver. This was my first time taking it so I am a newbie to the stuff. I would love more info if anyone has it! Thanks! T ggg '04

Knowing MY luck, I would end up looking like a Smurfette! I would think that only occasional use wouldn't give you that beautiful blue glow, lol! "Just remember, you can do anything you set your mind to, but it takes action, perseverance, and facing your fears."-- Gillian Anderson
