We went to St Louis to see some diagnostic specialists and got some comforting news on one of Braden's issues (HHT- vascular malformations) and some good info on how to best help with his other issues- short gut immune deficiency, GI cancer genetics and liver disease. I feel like we are finally getting somewhere with having a GI/liver specialist look at the whole picture. There's more info on his caring bridge page if you are interested. The doctor was relieved and pleasantly surprised at how Braden looked in person vs how bad his labs and imaging/operative reports looked when he reviewed them. We are praying he continues to beat the odds and continues to pleasantly surprise his doctors
