#566, "I just GOTTA brag about this!!!"

I thought about posting this on the main forum, but I know it would be more appreciated on this forum.
I am pleased to announce, after three years of pulling my hair out, many tears (from me), and 10 years (since the birth of my oldest dd)of changing diapers.......Katie is POTTY trained! She has been a stinker about this whole process and would go a day here and there with having success and then totally abandon the idea, much to my complete frustration. I can now safely assume that she was probably getting a little tired of my constant appealing to go potty in the toilet. Dh (Katie has him wrapped around her finger and she will do anything for Daddy) plopped her on the toilet last Saturday and she has been going ever since! Leave it to Daddy! Of course, he is strutting around like he is Gods Gift to potty training! We are having an icecream sundae celebration in her honor tonight!
Just had to share!

Way to go Katie!!

I know how you feel, Noah is finally potty-trained at the age of 6. I felt like I had been changing diapers FOREVER!! It was my goal to get it done this summer before he went back to school and amazingly enough we had success before the end of June.

A big hug to both you and Katie!
