#595, "Pulse Ox Problems"

My son, Cameron was recently hospitalized because of not being able to get his oxygen levels up to normal. We spent 9 days in Children's Hospital and they ran all kind of tests and diagnosed him with reactive airway disease and BPD. We started flovent, singulair and albuterol and then he got sick again this week and thought we were headed back to the hospital. He started on steroids yet again and we got his levels back up. But we are on day 4 of the steroids and his levels are dropping again. We luckily got a pulse ox machine here at the house to monitor him but I am worrying about what this is going to do to him long term. Tomorrow is our last day on steroids and I think at this rate we are going to be back in really low levels after the steroids.. Did anyone else go through something similar to this with a child around this age?? I know people who have had problems with newborns but Cameron will be 2 on 9/19..
