#2001, "Buh Bye Trampoline"

My DH has been gone what now, 10 days? Today, I kicked the kids outside so I could clean. I haven't changed their sheets in 10 days. I haven't mopped the bathrooms in 10 days. I haven't put my own clothes away in 10 days. It was just piled on my dresser. Do you know what they did while I was cleaning? They took scissors outside and cut the entire bottom of their trampoline to shreds. It looks like Edward Scissorshands lives here.
Sarah did it. The others watched. I'm not even a spanker and I swear to got they got beatings that they might remember for...the..REST OF THEIR LIVES!!!!!
God help them when my DH gets home. God help them. I've got to get a neighbor over here to get that down before he sees it.
It's the "warped logic" stage of the four year old mind. Why did she do it? Because it was old. OLD. So why NOT?
(Of course I realize it's MY fault for letting them have access to scissors whenever they want and for leaving them outside without anyone. But does that make me feel any better? UHHHH....NOOOOOO!)

Thanks guys!!!
My DH might be home by the weekend!!!
Meanwhile, I'm putting on a slinky shirt and getting a six pack of beer, to see if I can get the neighbor's loser 40 year old son that still lives at home to come over and get it down.
Can you imagine the only child that "can't" cut was in the house bothering me? What are the ODDS? Michele Sarah, Gregory, Amanda born 1/22/04 at 35w1d

Michele - you wanna write a book? Your kids crack me up (along with your nutty neighbors). BTW, whatever happened with crazy next-door-neighbor-daughter who was in your house? Loren GGG Jan.2005 @ 28wks

Would you believe I haven't seen her since that day? UNTIL, I swear to God I'm not lying, TODAY. I was going to pick up Austin and take the four to karate and she was driving down our street really slow with a baseball cap and sunglasses. Wow. That's so undercover. I would have never recognized her in her identical matching car to her mother's! I have to call her mother right now (that I'm thinking about it) and let her know she was in the neighborhood today.
"Uncle" Jerry came knocking at the door when I got home. His mother alerted him that we had an emergency over here. He was wearing a muscle tank top (it was in the 50s today) and had three beers. He told the kids they were gonna get an "ass wuppin" when their dad gets home. He asked me to put two beers in the refrigerator while he mowed the lawn. Man, he's hot. If Greg doesn't get home soon, I'm getting remarried. Want to be my bridesmaid? Michele Sarah, Gregory, Amanda born 1/22/04 at 35w1d

"Want to be my bridesmaid?"
Sure, but only if the dresses are in camo orange. I wouldn't feel comfortable in anything else. Loren GGG Jan.2005 @ 28wks
