We were all set to go trick-or-treating at the mall tonight. When the kids got up from their nap Abby was cranky. She just wanted to lay on her daddy and whine. I figured she hadn't slept long enough until...she threw up all over herself, her father, the carpet, pillow from the couch, and the hardwood floor. The poor kid is miserable.

I am not happy. I was really looking forward to dressing the kids in their costumes and getting out of the house. Plus, we had a lot of activities planned for the rest of the week that probably won't happen.

I really hope the other 2 don't get this crud. Probably wishful thinking. A couple of weeks ago they all passed around a bug with fevers but Katie was the only one stomach sick. Wish us luck.

No, but they had the vaccine for that. I'm not sure if that makes them immune or just lessens the severity if they get it. We have only had one major stomach sickness so far. I would like to live a LONG time before we do that again.

That just sucks. Being sick is never fun, but it is especially cruddy over holidays. Hopefully, she will be well enough to at least enjoy Friday. As for Rota-virus, the vacine will only lesson the severity. I know, because we had it last year. You will know if it's Rota. If it is there should be diarehea. Lots of it. It will be mustard yellow and have a very distinct rotten egg smell. Only 2 of my 4 vomited with it. Here's hoping it's just a 24 hour bug!
