welcome! This forum doesn't get much traffic, you might want to try the main forum. But to answer your question- you may want to hold off buying a lot of bottles, most of us leave the NICU with many bottles/nipples! After I used up my freebies, I ended up buying several brands before I found one that I liked. Good luck! Kelli GGB 28.3 weeks 5/3/07

I agree I would hold off on buying any bottles. My babies were in the NICU for awhile (6 weeks for Keegan and Kourtney and 8 weeks for Karver). They got so use to the disposable nipples they used in the NICU, for awhile they wouldn't use anything else and then when I finally could change them over, I could only use the cheapest bottles, because the nipples were soft like the disposable ones. They are not the best for gas problems, but better for my kids to eat and have gas, then to refuse to eat (they are cute but quite stubborn). I bought a lot of the 4 oz bottles because I thought they were easier, but I am already changing over to 8 oz bottles, so you might want to just go right to them. Good luck!
