#254, "boy does he have a temper"
|
i have bbg 11 moth 2week old (10 month old 1 week actual age)
one of my boys has a bad temper i notice that when his brother and sister takes a toy or a book from him he just screams. I don't know if i just notice the extreme because the other two don't make such a great deal if its done to them
im afraid it will get worse as he gets older .
he always seemed to have this temper even at 5 months old i would count to ten and he seem to get distracted and calm down this happen usually at meals. the counting doesn't help now.
i want him to learn to share ( the othes will hand you a toy he would never he turn his back on you ( could you imagine)
when he not bothered he is a mush and a angel
but i tell you he has a set of lungs.
if anyone has any ideas that i could start now to help him control his temper i would love to hear it
thank you
DEE

Dee,
I dont have any advise but I know where you are coming from. My Logan and Isabella tend to play nice together. Even if one of them takes a toy from the other, the other one just tends to take it back. Brody on the other hand screams. I have even caught him trying to BITE Logan. Logan and Isabella also like to crawl on top of Brody and lay there with him screaming. They all just turned 1 on June 29th. Brody is a little behind the other two. He just mastered standing up holding onto the furnature and being able to get back down. Isabella and Logan have already taken steps. Just in the past two weeks this has seemed to have gotten better, but not totally. Good Luck,
Michelle mom to Christina (11) Isabella, Logan and Brody (1 yr old)

I have to share a funny way we stopped ours from laying on the floor screaming. DH deceided to teach the 3 little terror to "DOG PILE" so that if any of the 3 lay on the floor, the others come crawling! Quite funny to watch when they are having fun but recently the one boy began throwing himself on the floor and screaming. DH yelled DOG PILE, you can guess the rest. DD loves to be on top bouncing and before long all three were laughing. This was one of the creative ways he got them to stop.
Good luck!
