#345, "29 weeks and still living it up"
|
I am new to this site. At 10 weeks my husband and I were informed we were having triplets. We were told everything bad that would or could go wrong. Well I'm 29 weeks, no bed rest, still working, shopping cleaning taking care of my 16 month old son, and 2 older sons 18 and 19 years old. We live on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, and have to travel over an hour every 2 weeks to Johns Hopkins for all of my appointments. That is were I will hopefully give birth! If we could only find a used quad stroller life would be grand. I wish everyone luck and good health, I won't say it's been easy, I've just been lucky so far.

Victoria,
Congratulations! Sounds like you are doing great. You might want to post on the "Triplet Connection Multiple Questions" forum, it gets alot more traffic. We are in Maryland also, there is one other triplet family from the eastern shore that posts here occasionally.
Good luck!

Hello, I just wanted to tell you how fortunate you are to be doing as well as you are, that's great. I have triplet daughters that are 16months old and I had them at 29 weeks. They were very tiny 2 pounds a piece and they stayed in the hospital for a long time. They are all healthy and doing wonderful, I am so lucky that they have done great!!! Good luck to you and your family it is a road of fun times ahead of you. God Bless Tiffany

Victoria, I am glad to hear that you are doing great with your triplet pg. My only advice to you is to please make sure that you take care of yourself and your babies. I had a great pg until I was 31 weeks and then baby c had some growth problems. I ended getting toxemia and I delivered at 32 6/7.
Please take care and I hope that you find your quad stroller.

Great news about your healthy pregnancy!
One place you may want to check for a quad stroller is your local Mothers of Multiples Club (Check NOMOTC website for a local club). They often have semi-annual sales where they sell used strollers, clothing, etc. By just speaking to the president of our club, I was able to find out who was ready to sell their triplet stroller.
I've also seen some listings on eBay, but they are usually for local pick-up only.
Good luck!

great for you; i was the same way; no bed rest or complications and went into labor at almost 38 weeks; i would encourage you to have your babies vaginally as well; much better and hardly any recovery because they will not be huge; my biggest was only 6.2. drink lots of water and take a fish oil tablet every day the last 12 weeks. the rowe tribe jeff, kelly, scott, sarah kelly and 14 week old harris, drew and elizabeth
