You might want to post on this on the main board. You will get a lot more respose there. Congrats and hoping for a quick recovery for the babies and a very short NICU stay! Kimberly, Mom to Isabelle, Alyssa, and Makenna www.guinntrips.com

I also have my triplets early they were born at 31 weeks all girls and my biggest was 3.9 and my smallest was 2.8. my first one got to come home at 4 week and the next one came home the next week, however my littest one was my sickest one she had to stay until her due date. I know how hard it is to have to go the the NICU everyday and see your littles. There were many days i would just stand there and start to cry because my girls were so small and looked to sick. And every time i would go home and my phone would ring i would get this sick feeling in my tummy, because i would think it was the hospital. And the night i did get a call that my littest one was very sick and they told me to come back to the hospital was the hardest night ever. It makes me cry just to think about it. But The lord was with us that night and every night, we now have three very healthy 4 month old baby girls, and i now look back and the time we spent at the hospital and wonder how i made it. You just have to take it one day at a time and the lord will take over where you and the doctors cant. Be strong and if you need to cry just cry it will help you i know it helped me. I you want to talk more feel free to e mail me at c_cobb74@msn.com I will pray for you little ones.

HI Renee I had triplets at 29 weeks. I was able to get the steroid shots because I was in the hospital for about 2 months so they did it for precaution. My kids were 1lb14 oz 2lb5oz and 2lb2oz. My girls needed cpap from the start and my son needed vents, then cpap, then nasal canular. They all were on feeding tubes for quite some time. IT sounds like your little ones are doing well. I wish I could tell you it will be smooth sailing from here but one thing I learned from being in the NICU for 2 months is (actually 2 things) remember that everybody's situation is different. Try not to get caught up in comparing.. The other is sometimes its 2 steps forward and 1 step back. Its all part of the process. Lean on people for support...One thing that I truly believed helped my children to do as well as they did is to keep a positive attitude whenever you are around them. Even if something scary is going on . I truly believe that they can sense their mommy's energy. If I came to the NICU one day adn something was going on not good. I would go visit them and if I started to cry I would excuse myself until I got it together. Talk to you angels, read them a story, sing them songs. I know what you are going through my little ones are almost 17 months and I feel like it was yesterday that they were born. Please email be if you need support flowell133@optonline.net. Stay strong, know your babies are in the best place right now and congratulations. IT is a wonderful journey!!!!!!! Stacey
