#2771, "My beta levels are not doubling?"

I was told yesterday that my Beta levels aren't doubling the last time checked. They said not to worry. That we will know more on Friday when I go in for ultrasound. I am so disheartened. I've been crying all morning. I don't know what to think. Do any of you know if a pregnancy will terminate due to this or do I still have hope?

You know that friend actually emailed me back pretty pissed off and told me that she was concerned about me having a baby so soon after my loss and she didn't understand why I would bring a baby into this world when I'm still grieving (I'm so glad she is out of my life).

Yes, I'm still hurting so much over the loss of my precious babies but the hope that this pregnancy has brought me has really helped. And now I feel so hopeless again. I'm trying so hard to think positively. I'm seven weeks three days and If I'm going to lose this baby I hope its happens soon. I don't think I can go through another burial. Please pray for me.

Raquel,

I am so sorry you are going through this too. As for your friend saying all that...I agree with you. I already think about getting pregnant again and it has only been 2 months since their birth. Of course I can't right now with Jaxon in the hospital but I still dream about it. I hope your baby(ies) is doing okay. I don't know anything about beta numbers except for the doubling part in the beginning. I don't know if they are always suppose to double for the entire pregnancy. Your in my thoughts....

Rachel,

I hope you can get pregnant as soon as your ready. Jaxon is in our prayers and I can't even express how much your response means to me. You are so thoughtful. Thank you so much. I pray for Jaxon's health and hope he gets to go home with his mommy and daddy asap.

I do have an appt. on Friday morning. That's what my doctor told me to try not to worry and we will see on Friday. I just don't understand what that means. Thank you so much for your support. I really feel it. I am so thankful for you all. My husband and I are bracing for the worst. I just don't understand. With the triplets I was told Sophia's water broke because of the pressure and that we lost them because of extreme prematurity. The doctor told me my body was fine to get pregnant again. It was my emotional state he was concerned about. Now I just think if I lose this child(ren)(I'll know for sure Friday if one or two)I just don't know. I just know that I can't go through another burial. I really think that would do me in. I'm trying to stay hopeful. I feel like my life has been in preparation for motherhood. I've always wanted children. And have always worked with children, always wanted children. I just don't understand. It really sucks. I feel so bad for what we have all been through and when I feel like no one understands I'm glad I can come here for support. Thank you again.

Isn't it a blessing being an infertility patient? I'm not sure a normal pregnant woman would even know what an HCG level is. Unfortunatly because of the infertility issues, we do and we obsess over them.
I am to wondering why they are waiting so long to do your ultrasounds. As and infertility patient and being high risk I would think that they would do it every week. It's been longer than that hasn't it? I don't know that much about hcg levels to tell you something for sure. I did look them up and I came across this website:

I will look for you tonight online. I hope things went well today at work. Talk to you soon.

Honey, you are in my prayers for all good things and in particular for this pregnancy.

It seems to me that dumping that woman was a good thing. She certainly is a piece of work.

Try to remain calm and hope for the best. We're here for you.
