#2946, "Where to have memorial service???"

Does anyone have any suggestions where to have our memorial service? We had him cremated and added to Colin and Courtney. I believe I want to have it outside, but am not sure. We are opening it up to anyone who wants to come, since everyone has been so supportive. We plan to have everyone let go of a balloon at the same time so would like it to have at least some open area. Thanks.

Rachel

p.s. we live in Ventura County

Rachel,

I don't know how close you live to the beach (I am guessing somewhat close in Ventura CO)? The sea can be is such a peaceful place to have a memorial service, and especially if you know of a tranquil spot.

If you plan to bury eventually and have picked-out a cemetary, typically there is a chapel on-site.

A church would be another good setting for a memorial service.

If you have a backyard, or have a friend/relative that does, that could be doable.

Even at the hospital where you delivered, there might be a chapel or an atrium/courtyard where you could have the memorial service.

I am so very sad for your losses.

Peace,
7mozz

Hi Rachel,

I just went on your website and saw when you will be having Jaxon's memorial service. I wish that I did not live so far away to attend this with you.

In memory of Jaxon I will have my 3 boys send off white balloons on that day also.

In our prayers,

Emelie
