I donated my first set of micro preemie burial items. I am just a beginner sewer/knitter so I am so excited how they turned out. If you want to see them I started a blogspot with their pictures. I hope you are all doing well. Much love...

Dear Rachel,
They are just beautiful!! The parents who will receive these items will cherish them forever! We received similar items from the nurses at our hospital, and they too, were made with love and donated. Since we chose cremation, we still have the items, and we proudly displayed them in shadow boxes at the funeral. The boxes now sit on the cedar chest at the foot of the bed, so they're the first and last thing we see each day. These items belonged to our sweet babies, and they touched our babies. To us, they are more precious than gold.
You are blessed with a kind, caring, and generous spirit. I look forward to seeing more pictures on your blog. Someday, I'd like to learn to knit and sew also. Would you be willing to share your patterns or instructions?

Andrea,
Of course I will share my patterns. It has been trial and error so these have been the best ones so far. Too bad you didn't live closer cause we could do this together. I would teach you. I made the website so the people who get these items will hopefully post a picture or a note. That way I can see that they are being enjoyed. Thanks for checking out the butterfly garden seeds. You are so sweet.

Rachel- The things you made are beautiful. I am making burial items such as tiny dresses, gowns and am working on somehting special for little boys. If I can ever be of any help or you need anything I can make please feel free to contact me!
I think of you often and pray for you. I know you were due within a week of my DDIL and I have watched your posts reguarly. I pray God has special plans for you. I believe he does. You have touched so many lives that maybe that is your purpose. Whatever it is I wish you nothing but the best.
The loss of our dear Lily was so hard for all of us, sometimes I get so angry at peoples stupid comments!! "MY" mother told me to get over it and not mention her, no one wanted to know about her. I was crushed!
I know I am just a grandma, but we love our babies completely and so we love our grandbabies completely!
God bless you Rachel.
