The 2 girls are in the NICU, but there are problems, mom knows the reality of the situation. However she is asking me for advise and want to compare our situation. My babies were 33 weekeres, a HUGE difference. Is there anyone out there that could help me with advise for her, what she should do, expect, not do. Iam really at a loss as what advise to give her, but she keeps comming to me. Any adive would be great. thanks Zayn 3/6/04 Pari 8/30/06 Trevor 8/30/06 Larkin 8/30/06

My triplets were 28 weeks, although small gestation. I know this sounds very pesimistic but I really wish I had of taken more photo's of Harry. I am a member of a babyloss support forum and alot of the women on there regret not taking photo's. I will pray for your cousin's little girls. Please let us all know how they get on.

Fpr me my greatest regret is that I assumed all hospitals were the same. For Courtney and Colin I received beautiful memory boxes that had little areas of clay for foot and hand prints. I never got that of Jaxon's and I am still angry at that. I wish I'd gone to Michael's or Joanne's and purchased my own clay kit to get his impressions. I also never got video of Courtney and Colina and I wish I had. It is so hard telling them to get these keepsakes because you don't want to hurt them, but I really wish someone would've told me. You are just soooo numb and don't think of these things until it is too late. I make burial wraps since my babies passed. Would you like me to send you two to give to her "just in case"?

She is lucky that they are trying to save them born that early. I am not sure what to tell you to tell her. My trio were born at 24 weeks and 6 days. We had a long journey but I do know now that it could of been worse. Tell her to take a lot of pictures. I look through Hayden's and I am mad at myself that we don't have more of him even knows he passed away at 14 months old. We do have alot but most of them he is screaming or something. I like the clay idea for footprints and stuff. I wish I would of thought of so much more stuff to do with my kids. Also tell her to keep a journal of what the babies are doing everyday. I was told to and didn't and totally regret it now. Now I am trying to do their baby books and have no way of doing it cause I don't remember anything. I will be praying for them. How big were they? I second what other posters said about the clay hand/footprint impression frames. I had one that I bought as a gift for a friend, but when Spencer passed I took it to the funeral home and had them do it for me. I'm infinitely glad I did. Definitely purchase two kits, and they are great whether the girls survive or not!
