#3930, "Expecting again"

I found out yesterday Im pregnant... it wasnt a planned pregnancy, however, my husband did want another baby this year. Im very worried about this pregnancy, afraid of another premature labor, afraid of going through the pregnancy again, afraid everyone will think this pregnancy will replace my babies.. and to top it all off my husband lost his job last week. I am a very religious person, and believe that God is always with me and protects me... however, its just a little bit difficult to digest right now...

If anyone has gone through this, I really appreciate your advise...

Congratulations! I know how scary this is. I am 15 weeks pregnant right now and spend everyday worrying. I had my appointment with the high risk doctor who thinks everything should be fine because the preterm labor was most likely due to the fact that there were three babies. I've already had a few scares and started my countdown til 38 weeks (I have to deliver at 38 wks because I had classical c-section with the triplets). I'm trying hard not to worry but that's nearly impossible. How far along are you? I'll be here so we can go through this together. You know that your angel babies are irreplaceable. This will be another baby, in addition to your daughter and your two angel babies. I'm already well aware that I will not get to enjoy this pregnancy. I will probably relax some time in June. But we can get through it and welcome another baby to love and hold.
Prayers,
Cindy

I AM SOOOOO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!!!

I know you are worried and that is completely normal. Just focus on you and your little bean. Who cares about what other people think. I know because everyone in my world is saying the same things because we plan on trying in May, I choose to tune them out.

God will protect you and help you through this. I am sorry to hear abour your husbands job, but everything will work it self out.

We will all be here to cheer you through this. I am so excited for you!!! Are you planning on getting a cerclage?

Congratulations! I am so happy for you but know exactly how you are feeling as I am unexpectedly pregnant again too. Do you know how far along you are? So far, for me, it has been a very emotional experience to be pregnant again. I am scared of all of the same things as you. I hope we can support each other through the process.

Congratulations!

Of course you are worried, that's so natural after what you've experienced. Keep your focus on God - turn over as much worry as possible to Him. You, then, focus on the things you can control - eating, resting, making your dr. be responsive to you!

I am so happy for you and the other pg moms here. I so wanted one more but my dh (more worrier than I am) just couldn't consider it.

As a pp mentioned, I offer many wishes & prayers for a healthy & uneventful pregnancy.

Marie

My high risk doctor just recommended serial sonograms to check cervical length weekly, and if there are changes, we will discuss a cerclage. She's pretty certain that with a singleton, I should be fine, especially since I carried my singleton daughter before the triplets to full term. That doesn't make you stop worrying, though. It's scary knowing nothing is for sure. She also offered the progesterone injections from 18 weeks to 37 weeks. She sais that's up to me. I think I will take it since it doesn't do any harm. I'm back at work now, but have been switched to light duty (which is not easy when you work in orthopedics in a hospital). But I will be doing the office only. They know my history and are being very understanding, which helps. I'm 15 weeks 4 days today. My due date is July 13, but I will have to have a c-section at around 38 weeks due to the classical I had last time. Well, now that we've officially started the newly pregnant after loss and worrying everyday club, we can help each other through this. We are strong. Rachel led the way and brought home her beautiful, healthy baby girl.
