I couldnt pm you, but I wanted to know how are you doing with your pregnancies? I wish no further bumps in the road....
I´ve been so nauseous and tired, I dont remember feeling this way with the triplets.. I cant do anything Im so tired, I just want to lay down on the bed ALL day. .. I had a scare the other day because I threw up some blood, but the dr. says everything is ok and only took my prenatal vitamins away a couple of days... How is everyone doing? Monique are you starting to feel a little better? Raquel, I am so amazed at your strength for hanging in there for so long! Cindy, how are you?
I saw the peri today and my cervix is down to 2.5. I'm so disappointed, I can't help but feel like my body is failing me AGAIN. We started discussing restrictions and I just don't know how I'm going to do it if things get worse and, at this point, it sounds like they will. He also said we will start steroid shots at 24 weeks which is so scary, I haven't let me mind go to the possibility of having a micro-preemie again. Thanks for listening!

Jessica i wanted to let you know that there are a couple of people who have had their cervix and a low number and have made it to 36 weeks with a great outcome. I remember Kara who lost her triplets and had twins with a short cervix. She was on bedrest for a long time. My cervix is below 2 and I thank God for my cerclage. Even though I am close to 33 weeks now I still am very scared of delivering preterm due to how much went wrong with my babies and watching them fight for their lives. I know its different for Eliana but if she is weak? or is sick? I don't know I just pray i can go beyond 36 weeks. We will see if I can make it till 36. I didn't think I would make it especially after bleeding at 20 weeks and being in the hosp. for 4 days. I thought I was doomed to lose her too. But here I am. Big hug!!!! Jessica, as Cindy said, you can still do it... Have you spoken about a cerclage ( i believe the Schiridkar (sp???) is stronger than the Mcdonald one)? how do you feel about it? What did your dr say about the progesterone shots and the side effects you think you are having (contractions). As Cindy said, a singleton will not weigh as much as your triplets, so I´m really hopeful that you will have a longer pregnancy. Can you go on bedrest? can someone take care of your babies? Please take all of the precautions you can. Speak to Rachel and Raquel, I understand they had cervical shortening earlier on and they have made it past 32wks... you can do it!
Cindy, you are doing great... I know its scary entering the 20 something zone, but try to do what my dr. has told me "If everything is going well, please try not to worry too much, it is better for your baby that way". I know it is easier said than done, that´s why Im quoting him...
Raquel, you amaze me! you are an inspiration for us all,
I´m doing ok, some days are better, some days arent. Im going back to work full time this week due to the fact that my husband is starting a business and right now we have no other income, so this scares me a bit... Im just praying everything will turn out ok!

Thanks for all of the support ladies. I'm really struggling over the cerclage issue, do you guys think I should push it? My peri says no but my OB seems to disagree somewhat. Last time I had a very irritable uterus so I'm not sure if that is why he is saying no to the cerclage. He seems to be in the wait-and-see mode and I just want to do whatever I can to keep things from getting worse.
I really can't go on bedrest, unless I have to of course. My kids are little, it's still RSV season and we have NO help. I have been searching all day for someone who can come to the house to help me at least with lifting the kids for now. My kids have never even had a sitter so they are terrible with other people... getting them used someone is going to be a job in itself!
Thanks for listening again!

I have mixed feelings about the cerclage is the cervix is holding out ok, but if your cervix is shortening, I think I would do it... but it is a good point what you mention about your irritable uterus... talk to your peri, ask him why not, what are the risks of doing it, and how to mitigate that risk... if it is an irritable uterus, if you can take tocolytics to help with the irritable uterus, and be able to do the cerclage... or something like that... I think you should delve deeper....
Im sorry about help and the babies, I really hope you can find someone soon, delegate, they will be ok, you´ll see. Monique Mom to 26.5wk triplets, born 09/14/06 ^Nicole^ ^Daniel^ Nathalie
