Raquel is an earthly mother to a beautiful baby girl born shortly after 9:00 a.m. this morning. Dad is ecstatic about Eliana Grace, and was able to tell me that she is beautiful and that he took pictures -- however, he is researching the exact time and her length for us.

Raquel is doing well and is weepingly joyful. Raquel, my heart is uplifted by this wonderful news.

Now, for a few details.

Eliana Grace weighs...




6 pounds and 10 ounces. She has already been able to feed from a bottle and is breathing well. It looks like she may be a "take home" baby. We're keeping our fingers crossed for that.

Raquel, congratulations! We are so very pleased for you. You and your family will remain in our prayers. I will look forward to meeting your sweet baby girl.

Oh, and I'll give an update when one is available.
