#4358, "Spring has Sprung...and Warm Fuzzies"

Hey ladies,
With Spring finally emerging in my neck of the woods, I have found the sunshine to be very healing. This past weekend we started our garden for the girls. We only have three plants so far, they are from family members from Easter. We are going to plant a tree soon (a pink weeping cherry) and we ordered some shrubs that attract butterflies I am hoping will arrive soon. It feels good to work out there for my angels. Here are some pics Id like to share:
http://picasaweb.google.com/nancywithtriplets

Also, just wanted to share some warm fuzzies with you all, you might find the words a little cliche' but my Mom and my Aunt wrote some nice things in Easter cards for us, and I just to wanted to spread some inspiration to you all and hopefully make you smile:

"Dear Nancy and Mike, Springtime is a time of hope and new beginnings, so have some faith that come what may, something good always comes after something bad. These hyacinths are for "Grandmom's Garden", I will always remember them too, Love, Mom"

"Dear Nancy and Mike, We hope you find comfort comes with the Spring - a time for remembering but also a time for looking ahead to see what is in store. Love, Aunt Nancy"

Hugs to all, Nan

Nan,

Thank you for sharing. I agree gardening is very theraputic for me and I feel so close to my angels out there. Just yesterday we had three MOnarchs emerge and they were 2 boys and a girl. It definitely brings a smile to my face. I hope those butterflies find your garden soon...

What a cool pic! And how awesome is that about 2 boys and 1 girl?! I love when those things happen. Glad you smiled We are getting the tree tomorrow. The garden I ordered says shipping between 5/1 and 5/15, I dont want to wait Ill probably go to pick up the tree and wind up seeing a million flowers there that I want! I go back to work on 5/1 - not looking forward to that, but I gotta. Hope you are well....many hugs.

Hey Dana!
Glad you enjoye I hope to post more pics of my projects soon and Im trying to start a blog (so confusing!). How are you doing this week? I think that I saw you were putting your angel on Rachel's site (am I right?)....that is so nice. She added my girls also, I love visiting them there (thanks Rachel!). Another place that Cathi has on her blog that I went to was Names in the Sand....thats another awesome site and the woman who runs it is a beautiful soul. She's a bit overwhelemed with names so it takes a little while....but just in case you were looking for more things to do, maybe go check it out. *sigh* Atleast these resources are here for us, sad as it is. My shrink is teaching me to try to turn the grief into positive things such as the projects. How bout that, therapy might actually be working! LOL xoxo Nan

Hi Rachel - If you are still having trouble finding the link, I clicked on the properties of the flying butterfly and got this link:

I added it to my blog as a picture with a web address and it worked!!! i am learning something new everyday!!

UPDATE::::: Apparently you cant type the link out without getting the butterfly to appear, soooo.....right click on the butterfly and choose properties - there you will see the http url path. Much love and no rush, Nan

thanks for trying but it still isn't working. There is something hidden on my site that I can't see and remove that all of a sudden last year made reposting these butterflies so difficult (although I will never stop!). I always have ended up going to one of the triplet mammas (sweetest lady) on the reglar forum who is a computer whiz and she goes into my site and helps me. I am trying to find the email she sent me last year where she told me how to bypass whatever is hidden (confusing I know). However, I am so awful at deleting old and junk emails so I have 90+ pages to skim through. I tried again with your link and the butterfly doesn't appear I will keep trying.

Hi Nancy,

I am doing well this week. I too am trying to do things that are postive, it does make me feel better. I try to do things in Benjamin's name. Our team "Benjamin's Buddies" is walking for the march of dimes this Sunday.

Did I read you are going back to work next week? I will be thinking about you. It was very difficult to go back but I think for me it helped but it took a while. Hopefully there is a quiet place that you can retreat for a few minutes during the day if you need to.

thanks for the info. I will probably have Benjamin's name written in the sand, it's beautiful. I cried when I saw Benjamin's name in Rachel's Butterfly garden.

I hope you are doing well. Thinking of you!

Hey Dana,
Hope you and your team had a great walk! That is such a great idea! I'm sure Benjamin was smiling down on all of you

Yeah, I go back to work on Friday the 1st (phooey)....work came up with that day which I think was thoughtful....work and then weekend. I had visited them last Wednesday to try and get the crying and sadness out first, Im sure it wont be the last cry I do there. But I do seem to get better with people after I have seen them once or twice, not as weepy. Thank you for thinking of me.

Glad you liked the site, Carly was able to get my angels names on there, took about 2 weeks...here is the link (its beautiful!):http://namesinthesand.blogspot.com/2009/04/shelby-lee-megan-aimee-and-lynne.html

If you want to get Benjamin's name on there sooner than later, try to do it by tomorrow - she is taking a break to move to a new house, here is the message on the site: "Note that Monday 27th April will be the last date they we can take name requests for a few weeks as we are moving house and will not have access to the internet."

Keep in touch! xoxox Nan
