Hi, just checking in and updating.. I'm officially full term, 37 weeks 3 days today. My c-section is next wednesday and I will meet my long awaited baby girl and leave the club of pregnant after loss and move on to the new baby after loss club.
Jessica- I hope baby Sawyer is home soon.

Congratulations! how exciting! and what a load off your shoulders to be already term.. I envy you in such a good way! well, more kind of, I want to be there so bad... I want to be in the new HEALTHY baby after loss club too!

Im 28wks today, but im measuring 34wks, can you imagine! my husband and I ask the dr. every time we go in if he is sure there isnt another baby in there somewhere... Ive been taken off of bedrest, but with somewhat restricted activity.. I cant drive, so that really restricts me a lot because my husband is out all day.... I´m going to the office 3-4 times a week for important meetings, and work from home the rest of the time...

Thomas Jr. is doing great, he is a big boy, kicks so hard all day looong.... my cervix is 4.4 right now (can you believe it? it has been going up from 3cm at 16 wks I think), I can only Thank God for that... he has lots of amniotic fluid, big placenta... so, everything is great... weekly p-17 shots, and occassional contractions (no more than 3-4 a day) and when I´ve had a tough day I take Ibuprofin. So, life if good! I cant wait to be 37 wks though (and I cant imagine the size Im going to be when I reach this point).

I'm happy for you. I know you must continue to feel anxious. I know I did up until I saw my daughter breathing and alive. I am so happy for you and can't wait to see pictures. I'm still trying to upload pictures of Eliana. God bless you and bring you peace on your big day.

Ava Jessica was born on July 1, 6 lbs 13 oz, 20 in. She is perfect! She did have to spend 1 day in the nicu which was difficult. I thought since we had made it to 38 weeks, we could avoid that place. But Ava was hypoglycemic after she was born and it was low enough to warrant a visit to the nicu for IV fluids. It totally sucked being up in a room, not allowed to go down to the nicu because they wanted me in bed until the evening and then having a roommate with their baby screaming next to me. I did get to see her and hold her right after she was born for at least an hour so that was good. Being in that nicu again brought back many memories and I found myself looking around the room for multiples. I only saw twins, but I don't even know why I do that to myself. After 24 hrs, baby girl was cleared to come up to my room and the regular nursery. She came home with me on the 4th of july. I'll post a picture when I figure out how (or get my husband to).

Congratulations on the perfect birth of Ava Jessica! Although it would have been better if she did not have any NICU time, im so glad she was able to go home when you did... I remember I cried so much when I left the hospital w/o my babies, I pray I never have to go through that again.
