#4817, "Back to work"

I've been back to work now for a full week which is 4 days for me and its been tough. I miss Eliana so much. I swear, I go home and she looks bigger in just 8 hours she has grown. It sucks to have to work. I do have a goal and hope that you all can pray for me to reach it. I hope to get my license soon and once I pass the second test I can start private practice for Psychotherapy. I hope to get enough client's to be able to quit the County and only work 2 or 3 days a week, when my husband is home to take care of Ellie. I just love her so much. My heart aches for her during the day. It is really tough being a working mom.
If anyone has any advice as to how I can feel better. This week has been bad but I know next week is going to be worse. Steve has been on vacation and he has brought Eliana during my lunch each day this week. But next week she goes to grandmas houses. Two days at each grandma. Ughhh!

I'm so sorry. I had to go back to work when mine were 10 months old and it was awful. I still hate it every single day. I feel like I miss out on so much. It never really got easier for me. You get more used to it, I guess, but it still sucks to leave every morning.

Can you go visit her on your lunch breaks? My husband comes home every day for lunch and I know it makes his day so much easier. I tried it, but I only got 40 min. breaks and it wasn't worth it by the time I drove home and back.

Praying for you!
Amanda

I think I would be the same way - I hate being here at work and I dont even have my babies...just sending prayers that you can be strong and do what you have to do to get a lesser work week Hugs, Nan
