Diane,
I'm not sure if you already have your babies or not but I can tell you I had the same feelings. But looking back now, our lives were better than normal. Having my babies gave me a strong sense of self confidence. I realized that I was doing something that not everyone else can do or will have the chance to do. Those around you will look at your life and be in awe of your family. Besides, what is a "normal" life. You will be very busy but so is everyone else with kids. I think I have thanked God everyday so far for the kids I was given. I am so thankful to have them that nothing else matters. The time went so fast that I wish I could back it up a little because I still have so many things I wanted to do with them while they were little. Your life will be what you make it. You will adjust some of your priorities. You will learn to be flexible in all aspects of your life. It will be a fast wild ride but it is so worth it. Hope this helps a little.

Diane, I am 9.5 weeks pregnant and I am also going crazy! My husband is making me so nervous by asking me questions that I don't have the answers to. For instance: When are you gonna be on bed rest? ARe you gonna go back to work(I am a teacher) Whose insurance will they be on. All of these questions are making me crazy because I don't have the answer to them, yet. BUT the only thing I keep thinking about is this: Once they are 3 I will be in like flin! I mean they will be out of diapers/bottles and they will be getting ready to go to pre-school and it will be awesome. I just think the first 2.5 years will be TOUGH! But it would be tough with just one so why not add two more. Anyway good luck and if you want we can talk more about our anxiety anytime. Erin

i don't know if your expection or dealing with newborns, but it does get easier. we actually kept our pregnancy private because i was so anxious about a miscarriage. some people at our church where pretty surprised when we delivered triplets, and they hadn't even known we were expecting. the begining is pretty rough, even with help. i had a hard time asking for help too. i started feeling better when i realized that i would never really get caught up, and that i had to make time to relax anyway and try not to feel guilty about it. for me that means leaving dh in charge to go for a walk by myself, or out to dinner with the moms in our local twins club once a month. i try to give him a night off too, an we've started asking our in-laws to watch them for an afternoon so we can go out as a couple and remember who we were before we became the 'ones with triplets'.my 3 girls are almost 8 months old now, they are on a feeding napping schedule, and sleeping through the night. this feels pretty normal to me, but it took time to get here.
