I am expecting triplets within a few weeks and want to buy a new SUV. Has anyone bought a Yukon XL? It seems to have all the storage room for a big stroller. Any thoughts?

My husband and I bought a Ford Excursion in February. We got captain chairs in the middle and I love it. I put all the girls carseats in the very back and my 2 1/2 year old sits in her car seat in one of the middle seats. I was able to get my quad Runabout stroller in the back storage dept., but eventually bought the trailer hitch for it, b/c it was a pain putting it together just to go for a short outing. I do think the Yukon XL would work...my sister in law has one and she loves it. She has 2 children, but loves the extra room. I hope this info helps.

We have a Yukon XL and love it. We get pretty good gas mileage, for as big as it is and the ride is very comfortable and stable (as compared with other SUVs I've been in.) But about the storage. I can fit all three of my carseats (we're now in the convertable seats) on the middle row. I also have plenty of room for strollers and bags on the third seat and cargo area. To be fair though, lifting babies into the middle on the seat can be heavy sometimes. We would like to get the captains chairs on our next model, whenever that may be only because it will make loading easier (we're expecting a fourth baby in December which means 2 of the boys will have to move to the third seat.
