#484, "Any comments on the travel swings?"

I'm thinking about getting the travel swings instead of the regular swings. It's mainly because of size. Does anyone have comments about them?

Thanks

I love the travel swing! I have one, but probably should have gotten two instead of one travel and 2 regular size swings. It takes up much less room than the regular swing, works just as well, it's very light and portable. I highly recommend it!!

A friend lent us two of these. We really really enjoy them. They take up a lot less space and they really like the music and lights. Now that they are getting a bit older, they prefer the bigger swings so they can sit up a bit more. We still use the smaller ones when we travel to MIL our if they are really cranky. The only down side we seemed to have run into is that they use batteries like crazy! When we were using them on a daily basis it seemed like we were putting new batteries in every week. Even with that, we love them, and would recommend them.

they are great we have three and our nanny uses them at nap time. They can be folded up and tucked away when not in use. all MOMs know that we have enought stuff with three babies - the space saving alone makes them a good deal.

I saw these as well and thought what a great idea. However, what brand are you using? I saw the recall myself and worried a little about them. I was wondering what brands you would prefer over the others. Thanks for your input.

Hi,
I have the travel swings and think they are the best thing ever! They are so compact and lightweight, also very quiet when they run.
My babies love them and I love that they can go with us when visiting family. It is a huge help! We bought this model and brand because of the quality and design.

So cute and bright, very comfortable for the babies. The music and mobile animals are a plus as well, especially as baby gets older. I even bought one for my sister-in-law when she was expecting and she uses hers everyday now that her baby is here. She loves it too!

They are small and take a little space. Our only issue with them is they do not offer any side support, and when our guys and gal were very little they tended to flop over to the side. A regular size swing has a molded seat, while the portables are very flat.
