#648, "What triplet stroller, if any, fits in a medium SUV?"

We have a 2002 Honda CR-V. We are unable to do anything else right now (i.e. minivan or larger SUV). We currently just use a single and a double stroller, but I'm tired of always needing someone else to help me take the babies out for a stroll or to the mall...want to reclaim some independence.

I was bidding on a Baby Trend Breckenridge on Ebay and realized that the folded dimensions given are too large for the back of our CR-V. Do we have any options at all? I don't mind having to remove a wheel or a seat if necessary. I just want the thing to fit!

Please help...any advice would be appreciated.

We had a minivan before we bought our suburban and our Runabout did not fit in the back of it. We bought the rack that goes on the back of the van in the hitch receiver so we could transport it and I was able to go out on my own with my kids. It is an extra expense but it gets you out on your own!

Good luck with your search!

Hi, just wanted to offer some advice...don't buy a stroller based on it fitting in your car, buy it based on what will last! We got a triplet stroller at BRU, Babytrend? I think, by the time my 3 were 6 months old, we could barely push it! It was just not made well enough. WE bit the bullet and bought a Runabout, wouldn't change a thing! I can fit it in my van...you would most likely need the carrier on the back, but it will be so worth it! Talking from experience here! Plus if the stroller is on the back, you'll still have the needed room in your vehicle for groceries, etc... I wouldn't have been able to take my 3 shopping etc...without my Runabout, I love that thing! Good luck with whatever you decide! Carolyn, proud momma to Rex, Macy and Owen, 2 years old!

We drive a jeep liberty, and the RA would fit in the back if we'd take the wheels off. But now we attached the hitch, and the RA goes on the back of the jeep super easy and covered nicely with the nylon cover. Good luck!
