#723, "Triplet Strollers: Advice"

Hello All !!!

I'm the mother of 10 mos. old twin boys & I'm in the 3rd trimester w/ a surprise. Yup !!! 13 mos. apart !!

I'm going to need a triplet stoller.

I've narrowed it down to the Inglesina Domino Triplet & the Peg Perego. Both are only available w/ inline seating & both are similarly priced, weight, etc..

I'm told that the Inglesina is better made & higher quality....so that's my 1st choice.

My question is this. The Inglesina chassis is 53 inches back to front. The Peg Perego is 60 inches. Does that mean that the Peg Perego has 7 inches more leg room? That could be a big deal for the 2 babies in back.

Has anyone seen both strollers? Any insight?

Thanks,
TLC335A

I have seen a Peg Perego Triplette next to my Inglesina Trio at the mall. In my opinion, I would never go for the Peg. My almost three year olds have room enough in the Inglesina, and the Peg didn't look nearly as roomy. I can go out (I have surviving triplets, but sometimes baby sit kids that are my kids' age, so at times I use only 2 seats, at times all 3)with only two seats or even only 1 depending on how many kids I have with me, and it doesn't look too odd, well, a bit odd with only one seat.

I have heard too many stories about the Pegs frames bending as the kids got big. I have loaded my stroller down with all my kids and with O2 tanks and medical supplies when they were smaller, and have never had a single problem. I definately believe the Inglesina is, as you have heard, better made and better quality.

I just measured mine, and with the seats facing forward (away from the handle) it is 64". I know the website says 53", but I think that is when the seats are facing the handle.

I'll try to post a pic with my two and a half year olds next to our stroller, for perspective on the size...
