I have a Safetech Jogger, its a great stroller but not very functional. It handles great and is so easy to turn and push but its really large and heavy(52lbs). You cant really use it in a store besides Costco because you cant fit it in the doorway or down any aisles. Its also quite the attention getter.

I have one of these as well. It's definitly a attention getter, lol. I don't use it on a regular basis and wouldn't recommend anyone else to. But it folds nicely and turns great. It is heavy but I haven't met a triple stroller that wasn't. I plan on using it to go to the park and farmer's market. I bought mine on Ebay and saved a lot of money. They average around $700 regularly, but I see them all the time for under $400.

Since I've used both I will comment on both of these models.

I love my Triple Baby Jogger--heavy yes, but handles great. It was used when I got it. It's an older model that doesn't fold down without taking it apart (the Q series does--my dream machine, but I digress). Takedown is a big hassle that requires lots of upper body strength. Still, I prefer this stroller for its sturdiness and safe handling. It has bicycle type tires and breaks that seem to go forever. The ride is smooth--I guage this by whether my hands go numb-they don't. The front wheels are fixed, so you tip it to jump curbs. The kids sit low enough that it is really easy to tip up their combined 80# plus stroller. The kids pull on the canopy and I don't even use it anymore-just lots of sunblock. It is almost two inches narrower than the Safetech. Still, you own the sidewalk in this beast.

I also had the Safetech, but found it handled like a utility cart and that made me nervous. There were too many swivelling wheels, and the front wheel lock didn't work for me. It had a foot brake that we didn't have problems with. It folded down nicely (big plus), and seemed a little heavier than the BabyJogger. The kids sit higher up on this stroller, so I had to lift more to jump a curb. I ran off the sidewalk once while going downhill because of the swiveliness of the wheels--scary. This stroller aggravated my carpal tunnel, I think because I was holding on tight for control, and the push bar was too high. Maybe I am too short for it 5'4"--I passed it on to a taller triplet mama who loves it.

No matter the stroller. The kids just love being outside,so in their opinions you almost can't go wrong. Hope this helps.

Kelli

I also have an older baby jogger brand jogger (not the Q series) and I love this stroller while it can be a bit of a pain to pull all the pins to fold up I can leave it all assembled and roll it in to my full sized van 12 pass extended Express. this stroller can go places were most other stroller cant in the great outdoors. it even parts the crowd in Disneyland.

It has its limitations such as cant take it in to the drs office or in to the cafiteria at my older dds school but I can push it up our extreemly steep hill with my 90lbs of kids in it plus my older dds school bags etc.

I can jog or inline skate with this stroller since it has a fixed front wheels even with the ones that can go either way the wheel on those when fixed bobbles a bit and you dont have as good of control

is the front wheel not swivling a big deal heck no with a little push down you can turn on a dime.

this is my 3rd baby jogger I have used and they are all wonderful this brand is built with the runner/outdoor enthusiast in mind I have had a single with my oldest dd a double when my second dd came along and now a triple.

I would strongly recomend this stroller to anyone it is well worth the extra $$ and resells well also

I guess I'm the odd man out, because I love my Safetech. I use it as my airport stroller exclusively, the zoo, aquarium, Sams, walking the trails around our house. It goes everywhere. I don't have a problem with the weight either. I load and unload it by myself without a problem.
