hi everyone I need help resizing my pics so I can post them. I used to open them with paint the skew/etc but now thats not even an option. help

I usually upload them to photobucket and then resize them. After they are resized, you copy the direct link code (there is like 4 option for codes) and then paste into the message. You can hit preview message to see how big/small it is before you post it.

Download Irfanview. www.irfanview.com.

Either Open Irfanview then open the photo, or right click on the photo and choose open with irfanview.

next click on "image" on the top menu

Then scroll down to resize/resample

Make sure that "preserve aspect ration" is checked (it should always be)

Then in the right hand side of the window, you can choose "640 x 480" and hit "okay". It will look like nothing happened. Click File, then Save AS and give your file a new name. I usually just name mine "originalfilenameresized"

Its very simple. I love Irfanview. It is free, but you can "donate" to its improvement if you want.
