#1235, "My husband needs help"

Hi,
In the last couple of months my husband has gone from being a secondary parent to our 8 month old adopted daughter to being the primary one. I have had to slowly decrease my responsibilities, which includes taking care of our daughter and house work. He has had to pick up the slack. He is so stressed and I don't know how to help him. We have no family here and there is so much that he has to do. Does anyone have any advise on how to help him.

Thanks

Hi My name is ashlee and my husband has had to take over almost all of the parenting and housework plus being in the Army as an OPS SGT. I dont know how he does it. One thing that seems to help him is I try to give him at least an hour or two away on the weekends. He will put in a movie for Tori (3 years 4 months) and I to watch so he can play disc golf for an hour or so. We are a military family and don't have family here either. I think the only thing that saves his sanity and mine is the light at the end of the tunnel. Our three little miracles.

Here's wishing you and yours all the best. I will be praying for you.
