I was taken out to breakfast and then we joined another family for a trip out to the Trinity River where we enjoyed the sun and water. It was a very nice day!

Sounds GREAT, Vaughn!!!!! You definitely have a 'keeper' in the lady of your life.

My wife thought I was going out with an old friend on Saturday night (the night before Father's Day), but instead I surprised her by having a friend and her 12 year-old-son come over for pizza, then my wife and I were able to take an hour-long walk while our friends babysat for us.

For Father's Day, my wife had ordered personally-designed outfits for each baby with words on it like "J'aime mon papa" or "Je veux des calines de papa"..... but they won't be able to wear them for several months until they grow into them!

On Father's Day evening, I had my first free night as a father, and met up with an old friend. We went out for pizza and enjoyed the "fête de musique" which is bands all over the village playing during the evening. We must have seen 50 bands or groups, including a nice young lady that sang a lot of easy-listening pop songs at the restaurant we went to.

Hope all the other dads had a great day as well.
