What a roller coaster ride...in the hospital for 4W and 2D as of today...have the house totally outfitted for the BGG but, can't sleep at night...to many thoughts going through my head...27W and 2D as of today....long way to go but I have a paper thin cervix that is keeping me up at night and a wife that is completely miserable in the hospital on Mag sulfate drip that makes her feel horrible...just trying to make it another day.

Just want everyone to be healthy...praying a lot today!

Hang in there! I am amazed at what the medical profession has learned since our boys were born almost 13 years ago!

Hang in there man. We went faster then you. We checked in to wait out the end of the pregnancy and they started her on Mag (which does suck!). An hour and a half later we had our girls. It's a crazy time. Time in the NICU is too, we were there 2-2.5 months and I spent a lot of time at home 2 hours away. Once they get home though it is just great. A busy life and a lot to get used to, but good times!

I also have to say, though I wouldn't wish it on anyone, time in the NICU is priceless. We learned so much being there and were quite prepared when we brought home the girls. Not to mention that they had us on a great schedule all ready too!!!

Hello G Donald! Interesting thought about having the time in the NICU as "prep" time before the kids come home. Also, dw had a chance to recover from her c-section and all before the boys came home. It is easier to heal if you can get good sleep. She went to the NICU everyday and helped care for our boys. Dw was a RN (maternity nurse) at the time.

All three of our guys were released on the same day (8 weeks in the NICU) As we were 800 miles from home, we spent a month at my sister's home after the boys were released. It was a good way to get use to this triplet situation -- no work and not housework/food responcibilities. Just take care of the boys and try to survive another night of seemingly constant feeds!

We are at 28w4d and my wife has been in and out of the hospital 3 times and she spent Christmas there as well. Every time we go back I keep thinking she will be there til the end, but I know that it is all for the best and we just keep doing whatever we have to for the babies.

Hang in there and just keep looking at the big picture!!!
