Here's a little joke I saw today. Not the best triplet joke, but it's mentioned. Any body have some others???

Good, Bad and the Ulgy

Good: You’re pregnant. Bad: It’s triplets. Ugly: Your husband had a vasectomy five years ago.

That is ugly!

Don't have any triplet jokes -- but sometimes it seems that the joke is on us!

And Three Girls!!! The joke is on you! Cute kiddos! I have the ABC Boys (Alex, Bryce and Calder) -- now 13 years old. I can not imagine what it would be like with 3 teenage girls -- the boys are a handful, but at least I can relate to boys and can better understand what might be going through their teenage heads.

Sorry for responding so late -- usually I keep a better eye on this forum!

Vaughn

Yeah, I think the joke is on me. They say girls are easier as babies. I'll try to remember that in the teenage years. I'm not too sure about the teenage girl thing.
Good luck with the boys, I'm sure they are a handful at 13! What an age!!!

I just had three girls last Monday...I figure the clock is ticking on the days that I can watch what I choose on TV.

I'm also starting to save my nickles for Prom dresses.

Congrat!

My boys were born at 28 weeks and a few days, too -- and at about the same weight. One would never know that looking at them 13 and a half years later!

One thing I did when the boys were still in the NICU -- I put my wedding ring over Calder's hand like a bracelet. It gives people an idea how small the babes were!

But congrats again and I wish them an uneventful stay in the NICU!

Vaughn,
That's a great idea! I wish we had done something like that. We never did take a picture of them with something to show how big they were.

Congratulations Ryan!!!
Isn't it amazing our girls were born 28m 2d and were 2lb 6oz, 2lb 7oz, and 2lb 10oz.
"Enjoy" your time in the NICU, we learned so much there that made us so much more ready and somewhat comfortable going home with them.
A year later and you would never know they were early. We're looking forward to a NICU reunion next month too.

Oh the dresses we'll have to buy! More then the TV, say good bye to the bathroom in a few years. Can you just imagine 4 females doing their hair and all that other stuff...

All the best on your new life!!! Feel free to post questions - or send them privately.

Boy and/or girls, a good sense of humor is always a good thing to have when raising triples! Things that would just make me smile, chuckle and shake my head would just get the boys' mom upset.

How else can one respond to three totally mud-covered 4 yr old boys?! Laugh and get the wheel barrow filled with warm water and give them a pre-wash before sending them into the house for the final wash!

Life is too short and the kids grow up too fast to sweat the small stuff!

Vaughn

But here's a joke (I work at a university).

The good news: The coeds really dig the older professors.

The bad news: They think 25 is older.

(Okay, I am 56 yrs old and we really did use to say "dig"!)
