Posting just to get "Snip" off the main forum listing! LOL!

Way too quiet these days here.

Hi Vaughn

I have been off the website for a while and just had a quick catch up read. Life with triplets can be so hectic you struggle to find time for yourself. Ours are almost 9 now with our older son 11. We are at the end of 7 weeks of school holidays and we are looking forward to the start of the term. Like you said boredom can result in fighting and we can't keep them entertained all the time.

Will post again soon
Cheers
M

Hello!

At least you still sound sane after the holidays!

Good to hear from you! We have a week holiday coming up. One boy is heading down to southern California for a conference and I'll probably take the other two camping in Yosemite.

I think this is the beginning of having the boys go in separate directions as their differences in interests start to come into play.

Hi Vaughn

I think I keep sane as my job takes me away from home for groups of days. It is definitely harder when you are there all the time and I don't know how my wife copes. She could really do with a break as our eldest son is pushing the boundaries at the moment.

I find it hard as coming home more relaxed I have a higher tolerance level to the kids behavior. The problem is I don't back up my wife on some issues as she is more stressed and will make a point of something I will let go. The thing is she is the main parent with me being away so my not supporting her doesn't help. I don't really know the answer and would love to give my wife more time off but then we wouldn't have time together which is also important. Would love to know what you or anyone else thinks.

Hope your holiday with the boys went well and take care.

Cheers
M
