Is anyone planning on going to the convention? Our GGB's just turned 3, so we are going to do it this year. Has anyone been to a previous convention? We are starting to get excited.

Kile,
We are planning to go. Our trips are 20 months. We are finalizing our plans for the trip which will include the convention and a week in an Orlando area condo after. This will be our first convention and we are really looking forward to it. I hope to meet you and many of the other dads from the FF there.
Regards,
John

We'll be there. We're getting in on the 5th and will stay through the end of the convention at a condo in orlando. Our quads will be 2 1/2. We're really looking forward to it. I think we're getting a 5 day pass to the disney parks, and are planning on spending a day on the east coast (cape canaveral sp? and daytona beach).
We went last summer to the one in Orange/Anaheim in California. It was a great time, especially the 'dad's' forum. It was nice to discuss things with other dad's. Hopefully they're doing that again.

Steve,
Just checking to see if you are in the market for a Quad Runabout. I am trying to sell one without the hassle of shipping. We are not far from Orlando (although not going to the convention) and could deliver it to you.
Or, if anyone else out there in TC land needs one and lives near Tampa let me know.

I think you two should somehow attach them together and go to convention with all your kids together and say that you are a couple of men that had a women carry your octuplets for you! Think of the headlines!

LMAO! Look what you did? I spat my coffee all over the monitor.
We won't be going to Orlando. A combination of the Florida heat, we have been there just April 2002 and the triplets being too young to appreciate it. The 2005 convention is in Washington DC. That would definitely be a go as long as we don't PCS between now and then.

You guys better start consulting about the 10 matching outfits and who gets the $8,000 in child tax credits under the new tax deal thing.

LOL
This does go beyond the standard "minivan vs. suburban" issue doesn't it.
The TC magazine had an article a long time ago about a quint family and the stroller they built for themselves. Pretty impressive.

Not this year unless some crazy deal on LAX/SFO to Florida flights comes up. Anyone know what the best internet airline ticket site is now?
We will be at the St. Louis convention next year, a must due to family there and in Ky. My cousin operates a big hotel in St. Louis and I tried to get his people hooked up with TC but I don't think it ever happened.

Yeah, God willing we'll be in St Louis and DC the following year... but I'm just not sure about this Vegas trip in 2005... something just doesn't feel right about taking a bunch of kids to Vegas.

I would think that the "Quads simultaneously removing diapers to torment MIL" act might play out there in some comedy club. I thought that was hilarious. I dunno why but our triplets never did the diaper removal thing very much. (How do I make an icon for eyes looking skywards and expressing thanks?)
But seriously I do know what you mean about Las Vegas. I have no huge desire to visit the place. I may get outvoted though, as DW said out of the blue the other day that she thinks Las Vegas would be fun.

I've been there on a business trip... I can see how people can get into gambling like crazy.. it's so easy. I would love to go for a couple of days with DW. But with kids??? No thanks. They hand naked pictures out on the streets to anyone walking by!
