All rights guy's I am here to ask for your help.

My son has been seeing an allergist for the last year and has finally come to the determination that there is nothing that they can do for him, but to put him on steriods until whenever....

Well I am sorry but in my mind that is not acceptable for a 3 year old, so DW and I have decided it is time to move.

Since we are one of the familys that are very financially tight I need as much help as I can get in finding a new job before we move.

So if anyone out there knows of anyone looking for a network administrator please mail me privatly and I will be happy to get my resume to you, or whoever might be able to help out.

Thanks for the help.

Sorry if I am not up to speed, but where are you looking to move to and what are you trying to avoid as far as the allergy thing is concerned???

Pretty much anywhere in the 48 contigous U.S.

The allergy's are caused by an extreme level of mold due to the wetlands that we live in.

You may wish to stay away from my part of the country as we have high mold here too. (Texas - Houston area)

I do think you need to be careful about which part of the country you move into. Could be out of the frying pan and into the fire. For example, the Ohio Valley is a bad place for people with allergies, as I learned the hard way a few years ago. And anywhere with a lot of deciduous trees and wet weather is going to be a problem for mold-allergy sufferers. When the trees shed, the leaves turn into big mold piles on the ground. Miles of mold piles.

Best of luck in the job search. The economy in this part of Cal has held up pretty well, and it is a great place to live. I'll e-mail you some links.

One of the nice things about moving anywhere (in the lower 48) is that I can easily (by comparison) move again, don't want to deal with that, but if that is what it takes at this time, then I will.

Didn't mean to imply that you are not doing the right thing. You are, and it is admirable.

(And it gets you closer to all of our retirement destination, the Triplet Dad Trailer Park in the desert down by the Mexican border . We need a tumbleweed icon.)

I didn't take it that way at all.

Most people don't realize how difficult it can be to move out of AK. You don't just pack up a trailer and go...

The only way for us to go is by plane or by boat to get anywhere but where we are.

Another reason for leaving, but we probably don't need to go there...

As for the Triplet Trailer Park, sounds like a winner to me

I have an interview on Tuesday for a position in PA.

Bad timing for me, as I will be in a training at that time ($8000.00) worth, but one must make sacrifices.

It is a fed job, (GS 12) so no complaints in that department from me.
