I'm a mean mom because I make my boys make their bed every day.

I'm a mean mom because I expect my children to put away their laundry, some of it on hangars!

I'm a mean mom because I expect my children to brush their teeth TWICE a day!

I'm a mean mom because I make them do homework every day!

I'm a mean mom because I make them clean their room to a basic standard (no clothes on the floor, closet doors that shut, etc.).

I'm the meanest mom because I think they are fully capable of CLEANING A BATHROOM!

I'm a mean mom because I took my son to the doctors and he was diagnosed with bronchitis. He isn't really sick (but we left with 2 prescriptions!).

I am a mean mom because I make the kids go to religious ed.
I am a mean mom because I won't buy my oldest dd her OWN laptop (she has a desktop in her room).

I'm a mean mom because I won't let my children quit an activity they chose in the middle (i.e. orchestra, Girl Scouts, gymnastics).

I'm a mean mom because I won't buy them everything they want when we visit Disney.

I'm a mean mom because I make them take ALL the medicine the dr. prescribes, even what it tastes bad.

I am the meanest mom because I do not allow a television in our house

I am a mean mom because I make my kids say yes ma'am and no ma'am and yes sir and no sir

Apparently I am a mean mom because I limit their game / computer time and make them do their homework before they get to play.

My oldest has just gotten the word he has an almost-full scholarship to the university of his choice (our cost, barring any other awards he may receive - $600 per year). Sorry I was so hard on you, son!!

(Since our only college savings plan has been to encourage the kids to do their best and get whatever financial aid they can, this is a MAJOR BIGGIE!!!)

Oh, also...I am a mean mom because every single one of my kids has had ***GASP*** CHORES since they were 2 years old and are expected to finish the work before they get to have fun! ***blush***

I'm a mean mom because I make my son clean up the bathroom floor, toilet seat and anything else that gets hit in an exuberant whizzing spree.

I'm a mean mom because I make my son take ballet and focus on learning during class -- if he doesn't pay attention, he misses t-ball that week.
