Good morning, everyone. Hope you are having nice spring weather wherever you may be!
Hope everyone had a nice Mother's Day weekend. Around here, it was busy as usual. My dh had two of my boys at a class and I took the other two out for dinner. Had to stop and by some new shoes for "A" since he's had a growth spurt and the shoes were also falling apart. He's now set and looking cool.
On Saturday, headed to Berkeley to check out a new rock climbing gym with some fellow family members. "S" really liked the gym. Great for him to get another workout in before his regional championships on Saturday.
Sunday was a nice Mother's Day. Walked in the am with a girlfriend and came home to a bagel breakfast and clean house! Off to my folks for Mother's Day / 50th Anniversary. Huge Chinese buffet lunch. The crowds were horrible but the food was delish!
The lunch was so big that our the specially planned dinner was put off until next weekend since no one was hungry. It was a usual afternoon of studying with the boys. Just hate teachers that have a test on Monday mornings, especially after Mother's Day. Then, another trip to the store when I noticed another boy's shoes were falling apart.
No questions of the week. I'm just out of questions. If anyone wants to ask questions any week, please feel free to jump in!

Sounds like a nice weekend, Sharon.
Saturday was Senior Prom for my kiddos. They had a great time at the prom and then the after-party. We gave them a 2AM curfew...I can't believe we let them stay out that late, but I know the parents that were throwing the after party, so we knew they would be okay. DH and I stayed up watching movies until the kids came in at 1:58AM....a good thing about triplets is that they are usually together (mine are) and they can be each others conscience. The look out for each other. Sunday I had very sleepy kids that had to get up at 9:00 to get ready for church. We all went to church, 2 kids did chores, 1 kid was writing a 21 page paper (due today) and I cleaned house, did yard work, etc. 2 kids then went off with their friends and then brought 6 friends home to watch movies at our house last night. Didn't quite feel like mother's day. oh, well. DH gave me a sweet card and lottery tickets.
Every evening until graduation party will be spent doing projects around the house to spruce things up or I'll be working on picture boards for the party. Trish Dawson Mom to bgg (1992 @ 31 weeks)

Sounds like a nice weekend. Ours was spent with baseball on Saturday, then a low key Mother's Day Sunday. In fact, my oldest never even mentioned it, although he did call me wanting to borrow $10.00.
We went out to dinner Sunday evening, just DH and I and the triplets, to celebrate Mother's Day and to celebrate our tio's birthday.
Our triplets are 12 today - time passes way too quickly, but I am so proud of my young men and my young lady. Happy Birthday Babies.

It was a fun weekend here. Boys had a club-side soccer tournament that is probably our favorite of the year: casual, silly, and local. (Matt's team became the Scooby's with a dorky t-shirt.) Francesca helped make a really cute journal set to give yesterday.
Next weekend is Gabi's Regional tumbling meet. She's already qualified again for Nationals, but needs some extra work on one event. Luckily, her regionals is local.
Still homeschooling the entire crew. Will probably do so through middle school. However, Francesca has asked me to consider continuing into high school, as we've discussed an all-girls school. She's not a fan of that idea! ROFL
I do have a question for everyone. Who does FB? Friends only? Family only? Both? Kids included? (Always interesting to hear differing opinions.) Tracey, busy mom to: Michael (16) Francesca (15) Matt, Lexi, Gabi (13) AFS exchange student Alice (17)

Good evening, everyone!!
We had a low-key Mother's Day around here. Church, nap, early dinner, bonfire, bedtime. I got new baking pans just like I wanted, which is pretty impressive of a hubby, I mean children, who took note of what I wanted a couple months ago in the mall. Not generally a strength of my hubby.
It sure has been raining a lot and all I want to do is plant my flowers - then spring will be official. Oh well. The grass is nice and green. I am fighting a great cold - made it all winter pretty healthy, so I cant complain.

We had a nice Mother's Day here. We went out for brunch. We haven't done that in a long time, but I finally broke down and said I would go. We took my Mom along. I was lucky to have two of my sons here for the brunch. The other two of course live too far away. But they called. I got a beautiful imac family photo book from the kids. I love the current technology.
My son who is in school in MS, was home for a few days. He has completed his first year of grad school and pulled all A's. He was so excited. These were some tough classes. But he loves Meteorology, so I think that helped. Well, he was heading back down to MS last night, when I got a not so good phone call. We had talked for 90 minutes while he was driving. He called me back about 10 minutes later and told me he had a big problem. Well to make a very long story short, the car died. He had it towed. Slept in a hotel because he was still 3 hours away from MS. He had the car loaded with belongings. It was late at night. They are donating the car to some organization in Arkansas.
So now we have the expense of the tow, the hotel, and a new car. The poor kid is a very broke college student. But he said we could come and live with him when I turned 80, even if his wife (whom ever she may be) doesn't want us to!!!!! LOL This kid has so much going on in his life right now, that I don't know how he does it. He is leaving for storm chasing tomorrow, as soon as he gets back from that he starts an internship. It just never ends for him.
Then my other son called from FL to see if my dh knew where the key was to the storage garage my son is renting. Chris and my oldest were going to move Chris' stuff into his apartment tonight, but couldn't unlock the storage unit. LOL I have no idea how that turned out. We were still dealing with the son in MS.
There is never a dull moment in this house. Notice the ages of my kids. THE FUN NEVER ENDS!!!!! mom to: Ryan 32 The Lawyer Jason 30 The Chief Meteorologist Chris 30 The College Student Tim 30 The college grad

I love the stories of your boys! It's very active and exciting. VERY cool that he's storm chasing. (If I had another life to lead, I would enjoy that.) Tracey, busy mom to: Michael (16) Francesca (15) Matt, Lexi, Gabi (13) AFS exchange student Alice (17)

Tracey this is an opportunity of a life time for him to storm chase in the tornado belt. He is so excited. We will just have to find him a car, fly him home to pick it up and send him back down there, again!! mom to: Ryan 32 The Lawyer Jason 30 The Chief Meteorologist Chris 30 The College Student Tim 30 The college grad

"Tornado belt" ROFLMBO I've heard it all now: Rust belt, Bible belt, Grain belt, and now Tornado belt! Have mercy...he had to fly home to pick up the new car? That's a dizzying and exhausting prospect. Hopefully his rough patch is finished and the rest of his school goes well.
