I've posted before about SLR's, well, we've decided on a Canon 50D and I'm very excited - it's a camera I can "grow" into while (hopefully) getting some great pics along the way.

That said, I've been looking into a couple of bundles and am trying to decide between them. There are various extras in each but it seems like the lenses are probably the most critical.

Bundle #1: 18-55mm lens & 75-300mm lens

I was originally looking at bundle #2 but after doing some reading on lenses it seems like bundle #1 might be better bc of the lens with the wider angle...

Thoughts? I want to get great shots of my children both still and in action (dance, swimming, football, baseball). I'd also like to get better group pics of the whole family (incl. grandparents, etc.)
