#22240, "Monday Updates, July 5, 2010"

Happy belated 4th of July! Hope everyone enjoyed celebrating and relaxing.

No questions this week. Just share your life with us!

I'm back home after almost 2 weeks in Arkansas. My MIL broke her hip and needed assistance. She can't be by herself at this point so I brought her home to CA for her rehab. Today starts the beginning of doctor appointments to get her care switched out here.

Lots happened on the home front. My first baby, "C", turned 17 years old while I was gone. He's such a fine young man and I'm so proud of him. He's lifeguarding at our local pool this summer and doing a great job.

With my MIL's arrival, we had to have two boys share a room. We put the bunk beds back as a unit and bought a queen sized bed for my MIL. When she goes to live with her daughter in August, the bed will become "B"'s bed. The boys are growing too tall for a twin bed and need some more room. This is just the start of the process of buying bigger beds.

The boys have morning swim practice starting at 7 am so I'm off to start waking everyone up!

Not a lot going on around here. We stayed in town for the holiday. I accomplished some things I should have done years ago, so that is good. Spent a day with my Mom and got her windows cleaned.

We went and saw Toy Story 3 in 3D. Loved every minute of it. I thought a 3D movie that long might not set too good with me, but it was fine.

July is a month of birthdays and anniversaries for me to acknowledge. I have my cards all stacked and ready to start mailing. Tomorrow is the first to go out and from there it is every few days.

One of my triplets is doing weather broadcasts on TV this summer. I will have to see if any of you are in an area where you could see him. I think he covers 39 different cities.

Well, have a wonderful week everyone.

Thanks for the head's up on Toy Story 3. I had had the same thoughts!

Where are you guys and what t.v. channel is it? Is it something that gets broadcast out of the area? I'd love to see your son on t.v.

I get motion sickness very easily. I thought that the 3D motion might not set too well with me. But, I even forgot I had the glasses on during the movie. The only parts that really jumped out towards me were in the previews.

My son is doing forecasts for 39 different markets. Here is a link that may only be good for today. If the Meteorologists name is Jason, then that is my son.

I'm with you on the motion sickness! I'm afraid I'll throw up at the movie with my kids in tow. LOL They will think it's hilarious of course.

Yeah, we are pretty proud of him. I think he is getting more and more comfortable as time goes on. It's fun to be able to watch him considering how far away he is!
