Happy Birthday to my wonderful boys. Today is birthday number 28 for them.

I woke up this morning and the first thing I thought of was the doctor taking me off of the drugs that were supposed to hold off my labor and counting the hours until my C-section. Funny how those memories stay with us for so long. I do have a video of the whole thing, but even without it, I think I would still remember most of that day.

I hit 56 this summer! I'll be 61 when the boys get out of high school -- plenty of time let to some more explorations!

Ah, you have 1 year on me!

61 is still plenty young enough to do some great things. I have to say though, that their college years kept us pretty busy. I had one college athlete. Then it was the moving them in and out, dealing with cars, student loans, you name it.

In fact, we are still dealing with one in college. We had to buy him a replacement car a few months back. We had 1 week to find one, buy it and get him home to pick it up and get him back down to MS to start an internship!!!! Why isn't anything ever easy???

I am hoping that after he gets his Masters Degree in May, we will be done with school. But then the other night during our phone conversation, he uttered "PhD". I just about swallowed my face!!!

Wow! Congratulations! They grow up so fast. I feel like we're moving at warp speed right now. I'm savoring these last three years before they are off to college.
